Wayang Fusion puppet from MalaysiaIntroduction to Shadow Puppetry

As part of a celebration of World Puppetry Day, we will focus on the art of shadow puppetry. Shadow puppetry is an ancient form of theater. In this short introduction, participants will gain hands-on experience manipulating traditional figures from China, Turkey and Indonesia.

Do you want know all about 2018 Nutmeg Book Award Intermediate Nominees and try the cookies based on the books? Join Melanie as she book talks all ten nominated books and lets you sample the cookies she baked for each nominated book (please be aware of food allergies; cookies may contain chocolate, dairy, gluten, nuts, sugar and/or other allergy-triggering ingredients.)
